Skive is a collaboration between natural perfumer J.Hannah Co. and leatherworker Canoe. The musky amber-rich scent captures the essence of Canoe’s sundrenched studio, animalistic with hints of freshly brewed tea. Skive includes ancient oils with aromatic qualities of fresh turned earth, campfires, old wooden cabinets, and dried tea leaves. Named after the process of skiving leather – thinning the backside of a piece of leather with a knife. This unisex blend is created in small batches in San Francisco, CA.
The 0.125 oz glass bottle comes packaged in soft deer tanned cowhide that ties with a leather cord closure and can be tossed in a bag to go. Skive was named a 2015 Art and Olfaction Award winner in the Independent category. Made in the USA.
