Open Road Chair

The Open Road Armchair is a collaboration between furniture builder KKDW and leatherworker Canoe. Built from welded steel rod with a hand-stitched veg tan leather seat and back, the chair is simple and strong with a refined silhouette. Over time, the veg tan leather will soften and darken to a rich cognac color through use. From two female designers in the South working with traditionally rugged materials, the Open Road Armchair is the impossible union of toughness and elegance.
